was treated for skin cancer recently. The 37-year-old actor best known for his role as Obi-Wan Kenobi in the Star Wars prequels announced in April 2008 that he had a cancerous mole removed from below his right eye.


"I went to see a specialist who thought they were better to be removed, and indeed he was correct," Ewan McGregor said.

Ewan McGregor said the surgery was "not that big of a deal." Doctors agree that when in doubt, it's best to get all moles checked by a doctor to make sure they don't pose a risk to your health.
