search continues for a new host since the show's host, 83-year-old Bob Barker, retired this month after 35 years at the helm of The Price is Right.

Rosie O'Donnell, who left The View in a storm of controversy after less than a year, was an early contender to replace Barker before announcing last week that she was no longer interested.

O'Donnell, a superfan of the CBS game show, said on her blog that she had a "nice lunch" with the show's producers but won't be taking up Barker's trademark thin microphone.

"Well, here's the thing: I don't really need a job," O'Donnell said in a video posted Sunday on her website. "I'm in a weird position. I don't need the money."
