What's showing at movie theaters now?

Answer:

It's a summer of movie sequels, and most of the movies in our top 10 this week are the third entries for major franchises such as Shrek, Ocean's (insert number here), Spiderman and Pirates of the Caribbean.

Ocean's Thirteen, the casino crime caper starring George Clooney, Brad Pitt, Matt Damon and Don Cheadle, debuted at $37.1 million, landing at the top of the movie theater box office for the week.

Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End dropped to second place with $21.3 million after two weeks at number one, but don't cry for Captain Jack. This weekend's take brings Pirates' domestic total to  $253.6 million.

Knocked Up came in third in weekend box office takes and earned another $20 million to its domestic gross, now totallying $66.2 million.

A kid-friendly movie debuted at number four. Surf's Up earned $18 million over the weekend. That's a disappointing opening - less than half of the $41.5 million its penguin predecessor Happy Feet earned in its opening weekend last fall.

Here's a rundown of the top 10 films based on Friday-Sunday box office estimates:

   1. Ocean's Thirteen, $37.1 million
