Will there be a Sex and the City movie?

Answer:
Yes. Ever since the hit HBO show ended in 2004, there's been talk of a big screen version of Sex and the City.

Now HBO has teamed with New Line Cinema to bring the four frisky gals back for a film.

Filming starts this fall for the return of Sex and the City and its leading ladies - Carrie Bradshaw, Miranda Hobbes, Charlotte York and Samantha Jones. There will be plenty of dirty talk and yet - lots more cosmos and Manolos.

Variety is reporting that all of the starting sexpots are coming back - Sarah Jessica Parker, Cynthia Nixon, Kristin Davis and Kim Cattrall - but that the leading men have not yet been secured for the project.

Last time we saw our favorite foxy ladies, each had settled down with the man in her life: Carrie with Mr. Big, Miranda with Steve, Charlotte with Harry and Samantha with Smith. The Sex and the City film has been scripted by its longtime producer, Michael Patrick King, which is promising. Show creator Darren Star is also involved.
