What is Hospitality?

Answer:
Hospitality is the reception and entertainment of guests, strangers, or visitors, usually with liberality and goodwill.

Hospitality defines the relationship between the guests and the host
It is a service performed in hotels, restaurants, and other entertainment venues.  The service dates back to antiquity, and it was most commonly used when one empire sought refuge to hide from another empire.

Hospitality can also be used when immigrants come to a foreign country seeking citizenship and a family native to that country offers to take them in and support them while they get through the citizenship process.  This is a less common, but more ethical method of hospitality.
