Is Knocked Up worth a rental?

Knocked Up, just released on DVD, is worth more

than a rental. You'll want to watch this DVD several times in order to catch all of the humor in this laughfest.

The movie comes from Judd Apatow, the man who gave us TV's short-lived gems "Freaks and Geeks" and "Undeclared." It stars Seth Rogan as a guy whose one-night stand becomes a more prolonged commitment when the hottie he was somehow able to woo (played by Emmy winning Grey's Anatomy star Catherine Heigl) learns she's, well, knocked up.

Knocked Up touches on all of Apatow's favorite punchlines - including masturbation, marijuana and, of course, female genitalia - all to hilarious effect.

Knocked Up features well-defined characters, constant laughs and, not surprising to Apatow fans, a broader theme that is as deep as the characters he paints.
