Answer:
Actor Tom Selleck remains busy today with TV In the series Las Vegas Tom Selleck plays a casino owner named A.J. Cooper. This is Tom Selleck's first regular TV role since his series Magnum P.I. left the air in 1988 after eight seasons and 162 episodes. Tom Selleck will likely always be best remembered as Thomas Magnum, a private investigator with a taste for the beach and the babes. Despite rumors to the contrary, Tom Selleck will not be reprising the role for the Magnum P.I. movie now in production. Actor Matthew McConaughey will play the title role. More recently Selleck returned to television as a regular guest on the popular series Friends as Dr. Richard Burke, who would eventually become the love interest of Monica Gellar, played by Courtney Cox Arquette. Tom Selleck's film work includes roles in Three Men and a Baby and In and Out. Most recently he appears in Destroyer of Souls, a sci fi film set to go direct to DVD in 2009. Early buzz suggests that the film would be more aptly called Destroyer of Careers. The film also stars Steven Seagal, Charles Durning and Lorenzo Lamas. When you go direct to DVD with this cast of characters, nothing good can come of it.
