How Do I Clean Suede? |
|
Answer:
Suede is a soft, supple material that is very comfortable The first step is to rub the suede gently with a bath towel in order to restore some of the material’s nap. You can remove dry stains and marks by gently rubbing a pencil eraser on the affected area. If the stain is wet, lay a paper towel on top of the stain in order to absorb as much of the liquid as possible. Do not use any type of stain remover to it, or this can interfere with the ability for it to be cleaned. Once this is done, brush the material with a suede brush. As a last resort for cleaning, you can apply a small amount of white vinegar to a lightly dampened cloth. Then, rub the surface with the cloth, and allow it to dry. In almost all cases, it is best to have any leather or suede professionally cleaned, but these tips can be used for minor stains if you catch them quickly. Trackback(0)
